Membership

Any voluntary and community organisation operating in West Devon can become a member of the CVS. The membership fee is currently only £5 per annum for voluntary organisations with an an annual turnover of under £10k per annum, for groups with a turnover of over £10k per annum £15, statutory or other organisations £25. Please contact the CVS office if you would like to become a member or if you would like further information on details of charges for non members and individuals.

The benefits of membership include free access to advice, support, development and practical services, excepting a small charge for loan of projectors. Members also qualify for subsidised rates for training courses and will receive our quarterly newsletter, which contains a mix of articles covering new legislation and the implications for local voluntary and community groups; good practice guidelines; trustee topics; funding information; and details of local services and events. Our Volunteer Centre registers opportunities free of charge to members and match volunteers to suitable opportunities with organisations across West Devon.

 

 

West Devon CVS hosts Volunteer Drop In Centres in Okehampton and Tavistock to enable people to volunteer.

West Devon CVS is a member of the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action, Devon Association of CVS, Volunteering England and Volunteer Centres Devon.
