West Devon CVS provides access to training for voluntary and community organisations. We provide training courses ourselves or we can help you find the training elsewhere. In some cases, members of the CVS have access to preferential training rates.

Empowering the Voluntary Sector Workshop
NAVCA to deliver an “Empowering the Voluntary Sector” 1 day workshop in conjunction with Total Support for the Devon Consortium. This is open to all Voluntary and Community Sector groups and will help them:
- Negotiate more effectively with public sector bodies
- Build confidence to negotiate using new knowledge about Public Law
- Access to the tools and knowledge to challenge, and operate from a stronger position
A full day workshop with lunch, 2 dates in Devon:
Tuesday 28th September is in Tiverton at the Old Heathcoat SchoolCommunity Centre, 81 King St, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 5JJ
Wednesday 29th September in Newton Abbot at the Teignbridge District Headquarters, Newton Abbot, Wolborough Street, TQ12 1LJ (adjacent to the ASDA Stores).
