Volunteering
Okehampton and Tavistock Volunteer Centres are services provided by West Devon CVS. Sue Bizley, Okehampton Volunteer Centre Co-ordinator is available Tuesday - Thursday 10am - 2pm. Billie Burnett, Tavistock Volunteer Centre Co-ordinator is available Tuesday - Thursday 10am - 2pm.
The core functions of the Volunteer Centres are:
- brokerage
- marketing volunteering
- good practice development
- developing volunteering opportunities
- policy response and campaigning
- strategic development of volunteering
We have been awarded Volunteering England's quality mark for our services.
The Volunteer Centres are able to offer advice and guidance to existing and prospective volunteers. You can contact us by telephone, email or pop in for a chat. If you would like a confidential discussion, please ring to arrange an appointment or email: Okehampton or Tavistock
If you cannot visit during our opening hours, we may be able to schedule some time at your convenience.
