Help to Save is a type of savings account. South West Water (SWW) provides help with dealing with water debts. Restart which offers a lower water bill based on your ability to pay.  A lower water tariff named WaterSure Plus for those using more water because of a medical condition or have three or more children under 19. WaterCare  for those on a low income and receiving a means tested benefit. There is also Freshstart and Waterdirect. TAMIS (Tavistock Area Men in Sheds)    The “Shed” now opens every Monday morning from 10am until 12 ish and Wednesday afternoons from 2pm until 4ish.   “Shedders” make things, mend things, get involved in local projects, share problems, solve problems, help each other and pass on valuable lifetime skills from different trades and all walks of life. Go to King’s Pixon Lane car park, follow signs to Kings, the “Shed” is around the corner.  Free parking; joining fee is £25 per year, first couple of ‘taster’ visits free, thereafter £2 per visit to help cover rent of Kings’ facilities nearby.
